"Nothing physical for 2 weeks, strict bed rest and only up and down to use the restroom." Dr. Kani says and I nod slowly rocking Katsuo in my arms as he snuggles close to me
Katsuo had his hearing and sight and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. They explained the effects we may incounter with his downsyndrome but other then that I gave birth to healthy baby boy
"I have a suggestion. You may not be happy with..." Dr. Kani started and I raise an eyebrow
"Have you considered....any other career paths?" He asked and I look at him startled
"What? No. After I'm healed and we are in a good place I'm going back to my Hero path." I said and he sighs
"Look, it's going to be hard taking care of a baby like him while such dangerous work as a hero." He said and I frown looking down at him
"I'll figure it out. But I'm staying where I am." I say gritting my teeth a little and he sighs nodding
"Look I just had to put it out there." He says and Shouto puts a hand on my shoulder
"Thank you but we will figure this out." He says and Dr. Kani nods and I look down at Katsuo
Am....am I fit to be a hero and a father?
Time Skip
We arrive at UA and I take a deep breath and walk in
Everyone was in the main area and Katsuo coos grabbing everyone's attention
"The baby's here!" Mina says and everyone starts rushing over
Shouji, Kyoka, and Ochaco block them from us
"Guys they just got back. Let them get settled in before you crowd them like that." Ochaco says sternly and everyone backs up guilty
"Thank you." Shouto says and I smile and we make our way up to our room
We make it in and Katsuo starts fussing and I rock him a bit
"Is he okay?" Sho asks and I sigh a bit kissing his head
"I think he's just fussy. I'm gonna try to lay him down." I say and Sho kisses my head
"Let me try, you go relax okay?" He says and I smile and kiss him and hand him the baby
"Hey buddy, let's go take a nap okay?" He says and I smile a bit watching him head off to Katsuo room
I go to our room and lay down sighing and look at my phone
Got tons of messages from everyone congratulating me and Sho...
Why don't I feel great about it though?

I know I considered giving up when I got pregnant but Kacchan and Allmight shut me down with that. Brought back my mental clarity, but what if he is right. Having a child like Katsuo is going need more care and attention.
"You alright?" I hear and I turn and Sho is kneeling down next to me handing me some tea
"Ah, yes I'm fine." I say softly blowing on the cup before taking a sip
"You're not still thinking about what Dr. Kani said are you?" He asks tilting his head and I laugh lightly
"Is it obvious?" I ask and he sighs grabbing my hand
