Chapter 15

Deku

(Mentions of past abuse, miscarriage scare but everything is fine)

"I change my mind." I state and I turn to walk away but Shouto grabs me gently and pulls me back in front of the door

"Zuku we already made lunch plans with your mom." He says as we stand in front of my apartment

After a few months since the incident my mom was allowed to go home but the front of her house is under surveillance

I gulp and take a shaky breath and nod

"I'm just scared." I whisper and he sighs and pulls me to his chest

"If it makes you feel better we are telling my family tomorrow and that will be really fun." He says and I groan

"Don't remind me, atleast when we told your mom she was accepting and loving." I say and he snorts

"Your mom is the exact same way." He says and I sigh

"I know...alright let's do this" I say and he knocks on the door and a few seconds later my mom opens the door and smiles

"Hey boys! Come in I just finished making Izukus favorite." She says and I smell the Katsudon from here and I sigh happily and Shouto chuckles at me

I've been craving it so much recently and Shouto been teasing me about it

We walk in and take off our shoes and hang up our jackets and head to the dining room

"I was so surprised when you said you wanted all us to have lunch together but I'm thrilled." She says sitting down and we give thanks to the food and start eating

"Yeah I just...remembered you wanted to get together sometime..." I say and glance at Shouto who glances back

"Of course....but I also know that's not the only reason is it?" She asks and I tense and look up

"Honey I know when your hiding something from me...I know your here to talk about whatever it is..." She says and I place down my chop sticks taking a deep breath

"You always had that mother intuition" I say nervously and she looks at me concerned

"What's wrong?" She asks me and I take a a shaky breath

"I'm pregnant...Shouto and I...we're having a baby." I whisper and Shouto grabs my hand squeezing it and she got quiet for a second

She drops her chopsticks and her eyes widen as she covers her mouth

"We uh...we are keeping the baby...and I understand if your upset...but I would love if you would be by our side.." I whisper as a tear slips down my cheek and Shouto squeezes my hand reassuringly

I hear her sniffle and get up and I glance and she comes over and kneels down and wraps me in her arms

"Of course I'm by your side, no matter what it is or who is involved I will always stand by you." She says as tears flow down her cheek

I take a couple of shaky breaths and let out of sob of relief

"Thank you Mom." I sob and she holds me tighter and rubs my back

"I'm here Izuku " She whispers andshe just holds me

"You better come here Mr. Your part of this family now." She says and grabs Shouto and pulls him in the hug and he wraps his arms around us both

Later that night she did bring me to the side and explained a couple things about what to expect and such and told me if I needed anything she would be there
