A text message from Takagi. I wonder what she wants. Whatever it is I doubt it's any good. I can already feel the push-ups coming. Well I guess there's no beating around the bush might as well check the message.
Takagi: How are you?
Nishikata: I'm good why do you ask?
Takagi: I just wanted to talk. How did your trip go.
All I could think about was that damn trip. If only I had the same confidence as Shoji. Then maybe I wouldn't get myself in these same situation all the time.
Nishikata: It went well.
Takagi: anything interesting happen.
I need change to change the subject. Just thinking about it gets me flustered
Nishikata: Nothing really interesting happened. How about you did you do anything interesting?
Takagi: No nothing really but me and Sumire were thinking about going to the beach. Maybe me and you can go pick out a new bathing suit.
Aaa b-bathing suit
Takagi: You know it's moments like this where I wish I could see your face.
Nishikata: I have no idea what your talking about.
Takagi: yeah right, anyways while we're here might as well talk about our project.
Nishikata: ain't it a bit early to talk about our project I mean we barley were assigned our project like a day ago.
Takagi: It's better to start early than wait until the last minute.
Nishikata: well I guess there's no arguing with that logic. I guess we can start by getting the materials we're gonna need for the project.
Takagi: Then let's go shopping tomorrow.
Nishikata: fine by me
Takagi: I got to go my mom's calling me I'll see you tomorrow bye
Nishikata: See you tomorrow.
Takagi: I can't wait.
I felt so happy after that conversation I couldn't possibly tell you why even after doing my push-ups I still had a smile. In a way I couldn't wait either.
End of chapter of 5 the shortest chapter so far I mean I doubt I can make one shorter but I guess on the bright side the shorter the chapter the faster they come out.
