Hello everyone!

I'm in my 40s and have two children. I teach and translate professionally.

After a lot of painful experiences in my life, I feel ready to write about them and get it out there. I want to reach out to people who have also suffered from similar experiences or are currently going through OCD or abuse in any form. If readers can relate and feel they are not alone, it might help them cope better.

I do have a hectic scedule and sometimes I can't respond as fast as I want to but I read all comments, votes, follows etc. and a BIG THANK YOU in advance. I appreciate all feedback and apologies if for some reason or other, I don't reply.

I DON'T do reading requests or tagging simply because of lack of time. I prefer to read what interests me when I can and take my time with it. I DON'T follow just to get a follow back. I DON'T vote just to get a vote back on my work. I think all this makes it a fairer and more honest platform for all.

Most of the images come from Pixabay. Beautiful stuff from talented artists and photographers released under Creative Commons

I have seen here some great writing and wonderful cover art. I am new to all of this and enjoying it very much. It's such a fun community of writers and readers offering encouragement and feedback.

Three authors that have inspired me: Anne Lamott, Jeanette Winterson and the legendary Oriana Fallaci.

Happy reading and writing!
