Hello everyone!

I'm in my 40s and have two children. I teach and translate professionally.

After a lot of painful experiences in my life, I feel ready to write about them and get it out there. I want to reach out to people who have also suffered from similar experiences or are currently going through OCD or abuse in any form. If readers can relate and feel they are not alone, it might help them cope better.

Three of the pieces I wrote could have been compiled into one book rather than individual titles but I wanted them to be stand-alone pieces which can be developed later on into a book of essays or short stories.

If you like my work, don't forget to vote and comment. This also gives me a chance to get to know others who are interested in the subject I have written about and perhaps discover other writer's stories that have similar themes to mine.

I do have a hectic scedule and sometimes I can't respond as fast as I want to but I read all comments, votes, follows etc. and a BIG THANK YOU in advance. I appreciate all feedback and apologies if for some reason or other, I don't reply.

I DON'T do reading requests or tagging simply because of lack of time. I prefer to read what interests me when I can and take my time with it. I DON'T follow just to get a follow back. I think all this makes it a fairer and more honest platform for all.

Most of the images come from Pixabay. Beautiful stuff from talented artists and photographers released under Creative Commons

I have seen here some great writing and wonderful cover art. I am new to all of this and enjoying it very much. It's such a fun community of writers and readers offering encouragement and feedback.

I enjoy languages, teaching and meditating. I love travelling and meeting people from different cultures.

Three authors that have inspired me: Anne Lamott, Jeanette Winterson and the legendary Oriana Fallaci.

Happy reading and writing!

I support the #stopchildabuse campaign. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
