❛❛ And then the pages went blank, the tale she was, only a mystery to the world. ❜❜ - Lake.
The girl in that casual attire at the far corner, isolated from all the chitter-chatter in the room, the one with her head engrossed in the piece of paper she's scribbling on, the one who's uttered nothing more than two words - her name at the introductory session - since her arrival, she's Lake Woodbead.
She prefers sinking in the familiar quiet around strangers and turns uneasy whenever they attempt at breaking it. On the contrary, she can go on and on chattering with people she's learned to be comfortable with.
She finds a raw sense of solace in scrawling lines which drip through her soul. Even though she's seen countless people produce magic through their wordly spells, she still chooses to toss her pen onto the paper with the hope that, someday, the crap she's writing might actually become someone's favorite read.
She does not accept reading requests as she wouldn't want to raise hopes for something she's not sure she can do. She, also, wouldn't tolerate people plagiarizing her works where she's invested her sweat and pain in, so she'd love it if no one thinks, let alone tries doing it.
Between trying to manage her busy schedule and trying to keep herself sane, she's got no time for a casual chat with a complete stranger who's just looking for a pastime. Though, she certainly does enjoy connecting with her readers and fellow wattpadians.
She might pop in whenever she could, update her books, reply to messages and even, read and shower her love in the books she enjoys. She's awfully grateful to each and every person who's given her works a chance and lended their support in her writing journey. She'd be ecstatic if you choose to read and let her know your thoughts on them, preferably Stabbing Waves.
Ooh, did you hear that? She says, "Adios, mi amigo." ❤️
