          Hi all,

Have you ever thought about the fact that Wattpad has no profile dedicated to either superheroes or myths and legends? Well, it's with much excitement that we'd like to announce that is a fact no longer!

Check out @superhero & @mythandlegend—both are still in the process of getting fully up and running, but there are dedicated teams of Ambassadors working around the clock to ensure that's not the case for long!

And if you want to submit your story (or someone else's story) for the @superhero reading lists, you can do so via this link: https://goo.gl/zwrvug

If I have a question on word usage can you help because I am terrible at spelling and grammar. My prayers have definitely been with Texas since Hurricane Harvey

As in: But, For, So, And, Yet, etc.?

Yes, these are fine at the beginning of sentences.

Here’s a great link that further discusses their use at the beginning (examples included): grammarist.com/grammar/conjunctions-to-start-sentences/

Some believe that contractions in general should be used sparingly in formal writing, they can be freely used in fiction and certainly at the beginning of sentences.
