Tanner Iskra served for over a decade in the Marine Corps as a combat videographer and cinematographer, from July 2003 to January 2015. During this time, he helmed numerous award-winning media products, including executive director, producer, production manager, and post-production supervisor roles. Iskra also successfully directed and edited projects while managing a team of 30 videographers, graphic designers, illustrators, and photographers.

The veteran's tasks included:
Achieving multinational worldviews in released content,
Defining mission-specific marketing strategies,
Collaborating with the legal department,
Localizing content across languages and cultures,
Maintaining preventive procedures and initiating production schedules and programming support.

In addition to his military service, Iskra worked as a freelance producer creating digital broadcast teasers and video features, among other projects for different clients.

As a freelance post-production editor, Iskra used his years of archival field and studio experience to provide colour correction and graphics for clients' shows and corporate productions. This was supplemented by his position as a photojournalist, where Iskra documented high-profile events, humanitarian efforts, and other international affairs.
