Day one of lockdown... I went a little crazy in the yard bleaching the fence. Germs shalt not pass!

Then I spent an enjoyable few hours stalking our chooks (they seemed ok with me following them everywhere). I feel like the Jane Goodall of the poultry world. I just need a notepad to jot my findings.

          	How are you all going?

@shelleyinon Exactly what I'm thinking and my concentration is short stories, no more than 5,000 words. It's a golden opportunity to work on our craft.

No deaths yet in New Zealand. But 205 cases. So we're all locked in. Good excuse to spend a month writing!!

@shelleyinon No federally driven lock down of the United States, however only time will tell? I'm in a county along the Central Coast of California, currently our confirmed COVID-19 cases equal 46, two in the hospital, and one intensive care unit. Also, it feels like an apocalypse but, I'm sure many felt the same 101 years ago (Influenza of 1918 - 1919). How about yourself? Sending good vibes.

You should post your article about Pūkekos’ fight for her life! I especially loved the part with the egg . And the happy ending, we all need those at the mo xx

I think that’s a great idea! The story of a small town journo. I’d read that although I might skip over the articles I’ve already read xx

I'm feeling so stoked to have held #2 in steampunk for an entire week! It's probably a computer glitch, but thank you to everyone reading, voting, and commenting.

@JLPawley oooooohhh I can't wait to read that!

@shelleyinon First half of Air Born is going up - and the entirety of Keeper is coming back. I've also got a totally new idea starting to simmer :)

@shelleyinon @JLPawley. It's only taken three years and eight months. But, hey... who is counting?

Btw are you uploading teasers or entire books?

Second draft of Clockwork Cowboy is finished. Now I'm pondering on unpublishing 'When the Bus Stopped' and making it 2019 relevant. Does anyone hate this idea??? It was set in 2014 when there was no political tension and we were all talking about Miley Cyrus and her wrecking ball... wow... things were so simple back then.

@shelleyinon @AnnaAlbo... I wish I still had my hands on my pre cellphone books! That's vintage!

@shelleyinon This is a tough call. But I agree with @dedewoodhams that you could limit the timelessness of your book. Unless you want to be specific to a time, then I'd take out any current events/world problems/trends. I did that with one of my books. She didn't even have a cellphone, lol! It was that dated.

@shelleyinon @dedewoodhams hehehehe nerdy nitwit. You sure know how to call them. I'm just thinking that she would be a plastic avoider and trying to reduce emissions from her stinky old bus. We weren't so worried about this in 2014.
