I live in a seaside town in Scotland with my family and two dogs. A few years ago now, I was diagnosed with lupus, an auto-immune disorder, and retired from lecturing to research and write a series of historical fiction novels tracing the lineage of Elizabeth Sutherland; a key person in the Highland Clearances. The first book in this family saga, Reign of the Marionettes, has now been published. I am currently working on the follow up, Fury of the Crown, which continues where the first book leaves off.
Although I mainly write HF, I dabble in poetry and have written some mixed genre short stories.
I am an avid reader and beta reader.
