seiko usui is a self-proclaimed social observer who uses alcohol, writing, chainsmoking and music as a way of escape from the dull one-horse towns of Baguio and La Trinidad located in northern part of the Philippines; the only region where people dress up for a tropical winter.
Currently dreading on law school as a last option for a career, she lingers on different bar counters on her off days discussing the universe to professional drunks and impressing potential flings.
Often loud and hypocritical, her main influences jump from Haruki Murakami to Leo Tolstoy, Maeve Binchy, Irvine Welsh and George Orwell. A proclaimed music aficionado, her works are influenced by the likes of David Bowie, Jarvis Cocker and the rest of Britpop and is a devout follower of the late Hideto Matsumoto.
She believes she'll be an alpaca trainer by age 55.
