A lot of my friends were at the protests in Minneapolis and the news isn't really picking it up yet, but the riots that ended during the day started again just a couple of hours ago. Lots of buildings that I've shopped in and lots of streets I've walked on are now being burned. The rioting is horrible and I hate to see my city being burned so if we can spread awareness for this issue and really start some change, we won't have to have these protests. Systemic racism is very alive in America and I've seen it and many have seen it. I don't want to see something like this happen again (especially to people I care about) and after the protests are over, we're still going to have a problem with racism in the police departments. So, below I include a petition for the other 3 officers involved in the murder being protested to be charged. Spread the petition around!

@rjkroeplin rant away. Everything we see on the news, regardless of the network, can become sensationalized. I think it matters most to hear from people who are there and affected.

I hope you and your friends and family are safe. I really admire your friend for trying to stand up for what they think is right. It is so hard nowadays. And scary.

@greydaygirl It is really hard right now. There's more riots happening in the city right now and things are only going to get worse. Some of my friends have had to evacuate and I'm thinking of going to the protest tomorrow, but there are rumors of white nationalist groups online saying they're going to come and loot and riot. I do think we can get out of this and we can push forward, but I know the world right now sees our city as this horrible place when really some of the most amazing people live here. And, it's very true that people from outside of the city (my friends have talked to a lot of these people) have been the ones trying to insight violence and trying to get people riled up when all most people want to do at these protests is peacefully protest. My friend got between a group of a dozen men that were destroying a cop car and got them to all stop (the videos somewhere online) and I've seen a lot of people I know personally really rise up and take control to make the situation better.
Wow that was a rant, my bad! I've been talking about this all day with friends and family in the area.

Thank you so much for being so positive. It can be hard to find a way forward from things like this.

Haha don’t t apologize! I think it’s awesome you were able to make me feel something in such a short time. And we were/are all angsty kids once.

@greydaygirl I'm sorry! xD Yeah I made that back in high school and I was an angsty kid.

New username! My old username was rebekahkroeplin, but now I go by rjkroeplin to match my other social media. You can find me other places at rjkroeplin! Thanks to everyone who has followed me over the years!

rjkroeplin

Yeah wow I got hacked big time and I keep noticing it more and more. I was only following about 11 people on here and now I'm following hundreds of people I don't know. Which is really bizarre! I have no idea what's going on or when this even happened.

rjkroeplin

My account got hacked and I put out a thing about it earlier to tell you guys to check your accounts, but I realized I didn't make it clear that it wasn't a dating site that they linked to, it was a p*** site. SO yeah just make sure to check your accounts (on all your platforms) and make sure nobody has hacked in to throw something up that's vulgar and not great.
THIS HAS BEEN MY TED TALK! xD

@greydaygirl  haha thanks :3

So, someone hacked into my account and put up some dating site as my link for my profile. xD So, sorry to anyone that noticed that! That certainly wasn't me, it looks like some bot hacked into my account and changed it. I don't know how long it was up. This has been happening a lot lately and I think I know why so I'm setting up some stuff to avoid this happening and see how it goes.
Everyone go check your accounts and make sure everything is what it should be!

I don't know how the hell you guys keep finding my how-to-write book, but it stuns me every time I someone comments. I've updated it a lot over the years to keep it up-to-date for you all, but I also wrote the book SEVEN YEARS AGO! That's crazy! Again, no idea how you guys keep finding me, but you know. Hi. And stuff.

rjkroeplin

Back in 2013, I wrote a book about how to write and wrote a chapter about swearing. I haven't looked at it in a long while, but when I did HO BOY! I stereotyped people horribly and, for it being my most popular chapter, I'm sad that I got some things wrong. Still, it's fixed! Go check out the chapter if you want to know what I REALLY think of swearing.

For ONCE I'd love to read a book on Wattpad where the girl ends up with a man that isn't a bad boy. JUST ONCE!

Bad boys have their limits! For example... Would any of us really want to date someone who's mean and maybe dangerous? No. Can't the girl end up with a man who will protect her, love her, and treat her like a woman? Instead of a creep who drags her everywhere and demands everything with a smirk, giving NOTHING to her. Does no one else see the problem here?!

greydaygirl

Ahah true that. I’ve only ever watch Doctor Who Christmas specials... I have watched most of the spinoff though. Torch wood? Drift wood? I forgot what it was called... WHOA A RECOMMENDATION. You awesome cool kid!

@greydaygirl By the way, funny you should comment. I listed your book under my recommendations chapter in my How To Survive on Wattpad story. You're a great writer! I'll have to get caught up on the story soon!

@greydaygirl If you've ever seen Doctor Who, I think they all became River Song. xD But seriously WHERE ARE ALL THE BAD GIRLS?! Charlie's Angels will never count. Maybe they're all in Kill Bill.
