Rich Agnello is a Webster, New York native east of Rochester, who earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech cum laude from Marquette University's Diederich College of Communication, where he was also a varsity letterman in soccer and college council president. He is also a Master of Public Administration graduate of the University of Denver's Daniels College of Business, and currently holds PMP, ITIL, and four other professional certifications.
Agnello's previous works include the middle grades sports/behavioral health novel Going to Williamsport published by Austin Macauley that earned Sports category Finalist honors in the 2023 American Fiction Awards, as well as the young child's short story What Do I Do With Dewey? that earned Semifinalist status in the 2022 Screencraft Short Story Cinematic Adaptation competition from among almost 800 global entries.
In addition, Agnello's feature editorials and letters to the editor have appeared in eleven newspapers across six states, including the Rochester Business Journal, the Raleigh, North Carolina News and Observer, and The Dallas Morning News, along with the Marquette Tribune and University of Denver Clarion during his undergraduate and graduate tenures, respectively.
Agnello has served the public sector in his government/private enterprise career through software testing, test management, and project and program management over the past 40 years, and during this time he has also contributed 150 combined years of community service.
Rich and his wife of twenty-five years Theresa are both Federal Government retirees and reside in Worthington, Ohio north of Columbus.
