I love imagining stories in my head, but I rarely have time to write them all down. My hobbies are writing, soccer, field hockey, acting, volunteering, Girl Guides, and reading lots of books. 

My pet peeve is grammar and spelling mistakes. If I see them in my own work I freak out and fix them immediately, and if I see them in others work I find it really hard to read.

My favourite TV show is Firefly. Remember folks, "If you can't do something smart, do something right."

I like to think of myself as a hippie/environmentalist/indie/classic but mostly my friends just think I'm a crazy hobo. 

I hate the idea of 'possessions', and it disgusts me to own things. But fascinates me at the same time... Basically I wish that everyone on the earth could just share everything, but that's not the way it goes. A great example of how lopsided the world is is the picture book "If the World Were a Village" by David Smith. Read it.

I am a firm believer in LGBT rights, so remember 'gay is not a synonym for stupid'.

I am ever so sorry about how slow I am updating Instant Princess. My only excuse is... I have no excuse. If you ever feel overwhelming frustration at me to write more of a particular story, or you just hate the direction I have gone in one, please do yell at me on my wall. I can be extremely thick and oblivious sometimes.
