Unlike some authors, I'm going to be writing both fanfics and books of my own. I highly recommend reading them, and if you don't like them, please let me know how can I improve them. I'm open to suggestions.
Here's a little advance of one of the books I'm writing.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" Asked the boy as they walked down the dark street. He was tired and wanted nothing more than to go home, get a shower and a good nights sleep.
"It means what I just said." Talked back the girl while she happily jumped from one side of the street to the other.
"You act as if you were the king of conventional."
The boy sighed in defeat, knowing nothing could change his friend's mind. Then an idea popped into his head.
"If I'm the king of conventional, then what are you?"
"Oh, that's easy."
She stopped on her tracks and looked over her shoulder at the boy behind her. She gave him a childish smile before saying. "I'm the queen of the freaks."
