Hey, you okay? I noticed you've been absent for awhile. Hope you're enjoying your freetime, and everything is going well? I absolutely love your books, and I really hope their writer is feeling well. Have a great day/night :)
@nekoamamori I am really sad to hear that. I was wondering about your slight adjustment in writing style. I hope you know you don't have to change your writing just because people are annoying you. I have loved all of your books I have read and really enjoy the obvious time you put into them.
@nekoamamori I get that. Before I sent this message- all through your feed is just "update update update" stuff. Seriously- so much drives ME insane. I can only imagine what you're feeling. And they're wrong, BTW. You don't have to update. You are allowed to stop if writing has lost its appeal. And you don't have to come back. Readers will find some other form of entertainment. I mean, you've written hundreds of thousands of words. That's enough entertainment in itself. But if you do want to come back- whether soon, or eventually- don't come back because someone wants you to update. That's not your job. You're not being paid. This isn't your life. Come back only if you want to. If it is a good time for YOU. Eating, sleeping, work, health, family, friends, other hobbies- all of these can come before fanfiction. Write only because you want to. I guess I'm trying to give some advice. Personally, I could not live without expressing myself in words. So write for yourself. Don't write something because a reader wants more. You're allowed to say no. You're allowed to stop. You're allowed to take the longest break ever. You don't have to come back. But you're not allowed to give up. Keep writing- not for us, but because you have an amazing talent. You don't have to share it(or even write fanfiction), but try to strengthen it. Write what you want. Literally whatever you want. It's your skill, no one can tell you otherwise. This ended up much longer than I thought it would be. But I hope it helped or provided reassurance of some kind? People want to give you encouragement, if you only ask for it. (Literally, try sending a message. So many responses.) You're amazing, you inspire, you literally have one of the most followed accounts on this website! Fans beg for more chapters because they love your work so much. And commenting is the only way they can express it. Anyway- I hope you have a great day/night/life. :) (Thanks for responding, btw. It meant a lot.)
@DontTellAuntieTasha TBH writing hasn't been fun anymore. It's been really discouraging when there's such little user engagement. 99% of the comments I get are people begging for either more chapters or complaining about the lack of smut. It's gotten to be too much for me to want to put effort into writing and sharing with people
