We spent such a great time of our lives fitting in someone's frame that we forget to explore who we really are. Since the beginning we are told to copy. The teachers would show us work of toppers and ask us to do it that way. We start idealising people. At least i did. Talk like her! Walk like her! Write like her! Laugh like her! I found myself being like the people i admired. I tried to be like the one i liked and forgot that there's something existing in me on its own. Something innate. It took me years to realise that I'm a human ,not a monkey. Everyone told me that i would be liked if i would be like others or brighter than others. I have to be better version of others to be admired and envied of. And i forgot to be better version of myself. Then i realized what i actually wanted to be. I wanted to be myself!  All this while i wanted to be Tooba , not the person who was made layer by layer of all these people. Today i officially introduce myself to y'all. Hello I'm Tooba. I'm sorry I'm not the person you want me to be. I don't agree with all your opinions. I have my own circumstances. I'm not perfect , I'm flawed and i feel no shame in admitting it. I may hurt you , im a human afterall. But when i realise , I'll ask you for forgiveness. When i do something wrong , i want you to talk to me about it instead of hoping that i would understand on my own. A human can't understand everything. I dont promise you to be good person. I won't even promise you that I'll keep my promises.From today I'm going to be myself. I'm going to live for myself. Cuz at the end of the day I'm all i have. I hope y'all will accept me for who i am and forgive me for not being who you want me to be. Nice to meet you guys. I hope we'll get along well.
