Wandering poet Amanda-Elizabeth Abend explores literature and nature, seeking to find intellectual and spiritual growth. A student and artist, Mandy energetically and optimistically drifts, grounding herself in experience and discovery. Embracing her meandering roam, she considers herself an adventurer, a conservator, a humanitarian; a wanderer. Her poems have been previously published in the 2014 Spring issue of the Aztec Literary Review.

Amanda-Elizabeth's favorite journeys include Lost Horizon by James Hilton, On the Road by Jack Kerouac, the poetry of Pablo Neruda and Allan Ginsberg, and the endearingly romantic Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen.
