Does anyone have some 48 hour days to spare? :) Since I [finally] posted my short story last week or so back, my mind has been brimming with ideas for the Renryre Island sequel. Problem is, I really need to finish off some other projects first...

          	Anyway, the good news is that there be a sequel! "Soon" :)

@mabholloway Know that feeling well - more projects than time - an eternal conundrum.

Cedwyck is a good character, and I agree with Sean, though not having finished this first book, I am currently most fascinated by Arynlock and Mr. Discreet. I'd like to see more of all of the characters though, and whatever new ones your mind turns out.

@mabholloway Yes! I mean, no, I don't have any spare 48 hour days that I can spare, but: Yes, there's going to be a sequel, sweet! :)

Good Wednesday to ye all. Right, now I promised you a Sci-Fi short story that was already being edited about... err, two months ago. Well, you know... life, and all. Anyway, it's finally ready!

          Based on my National Geographic #PlanetOrPlastic entry, I have extended "A Red Planet" to a thirty minute read which, I hope, retains its original theme even while the story develops into something more of a genuine sci-fi adventure.

          Happy reading!

@mabholloway As it happens, at the moment I am doing the opposite, I am not writing. That’s because I know that if I do I will, again, be distracted from trying to promote the writing I have completed. Up to now I have very lax on that score.
            Good luck with the new stuff, I’ll take a look at A Red Planet as soon as I get chance.

I finally finished reading The Disjointed Tales of Renryre Island and I have to say, I loved every single word of it. It was very impressive how it took me and my emotions on a roller-coaster ride. But it's even more impressive that you were able to weave a story from seemingly "Disjointed Tales". How did you pull that off? Did you plan it beforehand or did you make it up as you go?

          Now I've said this before but I'll say it again, I love your book and I'm looking forward to reading more!!!

mabholloway

@NicoleSasha_250 Thank you so much! I really appreciate the positive feedback! :)

            I actually started off with five writing prompts, so the first five chapters were only connected in that they were on the same island, and I happened to weave characters between them. I then made things up as I went for the next 15 chapters before I figured out how to finish it. So the last chapters were planned. How it all came together, I have no idea!! :)

Hi all! Apologies for the extended "minor" delay in releasing the remaining chapters. I'm just waiting for the final proof at the moment. I won't wait for next Friday to be on the schedule, I will put it up as soon as I can. Any day now :)

@mabholloway ready when you are!

@mabholloway "Any day now" ... sounds pretty ominous. At this rate I'll probably start writing Cedwyck fan-fictions ...
