it’s been a while. i actually deleted this app for a while because my creativity has been pretty low the past few months. i came back because i have something pretty important to say. after much deliberation, i’ll be deleting “paint my hands black,” my dan and phil fan fiction. in light of daniel howell’s newest video regarding his sexuality, i just feel like my work is so inappropriate and serves as a mockery of both his sexuality and his relationship with phil lester, whatever it might or may be (it really isn’t anyone’s business, though). i used it for my own coping purposes, and i’ve always felt that it was a pretty unrealistic and unhealthy representation of dan and phil, as well as the various topics the story covers. i’ve finally learned to respect others’ privacy and sexuality as well as my own, and i can’t let numbers and greed get in the way of doing what’s right for myself. this all being said, there are many other fan fictions out there, and not all, or even most, are bad! but it’s important to always stay respectful of others and what they might experience. that’s all, and please have a lovely day!
