​​​Jeff is an author, entrepreneur, and scientist. As a multidisciplinary scholar, his publications span various branches of the life and mathematical sciences. He holds multiple patents the primary inventor with both the United States Patent and Trademark Office and European Patent Office. Also a dedicated educator, he has instructed at the Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation, taught courses in immunology and computational biology at New York University Grossman School of Medicine, and lectured on cancer biology at Imperial College London.​

Born outside Philadelphia, he spent his childhood in the vibrant Sheung Wan district of Hong Kong. Jeff has also lived, worked, and studied around the world. He currently calls the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles home, while maintaining a creative retreat in the cliffs of Topanga. He lives with his beloved dog, Goblin, an Australian Shepherd. In addition to loving any dog he meets, Jeff enjoys literature, writing, ceramics, gardening, travel, architectural design, fishing, and painting.​
