Published??? Nothing of consequence for sure. I quit writing for quite awhile then picked it up again about ten years ago. However... I have a a business that demands most of my attention and that, combined with some health issues have derailed me for some time now.

Beyond all that, I have always read whatever I could and I appreciate language. I enjoy painting scenes and situations with words. Much of the stuff you read on wattpad has real trouble with pacing, structure, and lacks appreciation for language. My first step seems to find a conflict that needs exploration, then I try to get an idea of how it could be resolved (although that can and does change frequently), and then I create characters to make those things happen, recognizing that those characters may not react to situations as I would. They react/respond as their character would... not me.

I don't know if that helps. But I would recommend the book by Stephen King called "On Writing" if you're interested in furthering your own work.

Thanks! Hopefully I can get it wrapped up real soon...

Having said that, in my opinion, Red White and Black is my best stuff. A far cry from Sci-fi, but a timely and compelling story.

            Thanks for reading!

TNT Horror Contest... Yeah, I need your help and I'm not too proud to beg. I will also do a huge amount of buttering you up with elaborate praise and compliments... All you've got to do is vote for "The Boarder."

Think about it. When was the last time you had someone grovelling at your feet???????

From me in July 2015 - same comment again and good luck!
Outstanding. Narrating through the MC gives the reader eyes to see the whole scene unfold. It had a hint of Harper Lee in the dialogue and the texture. Just great. (voted)
