On July 27, 1914, the country's first Executive Minister, Brother Felix Y. Manalo, founded the Iglesia Ni Cristo.
The Church soon spread over the Philippines' Visayan and Mindanao islands.
As of April 12, 1963, the Iglesia Ni Cristo has formed ecclesiastical districts in over half of the country. In 1968, the Iglesia Ni Cristo founded its first two local churches outside the Philippines, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and San Francisco, California. As a result, the Iglesia Ni Cristo grew in the West, and later globally.
