Don't presume that you know me just because you've heard a few rumours and read a few articles.

@coldxblooded * she ignored his question, letting her fingers run along the pages of her own books. the feeling of it grounded her, kept her calm and focused. she figured this was probably the only way to get through this awful interaction, no matter how long she’d have to do it. but the more the slytherin talked, the slower she fiddled with the pages. she figured he was trying to get in her head, and the worst part of all it was that part of her almost wanted to believe him. they didn’t support the same things, they were the total opposite of one another in pretty much every way imaginable – how /did/ they work? * oh, would you just stop talking?

How does Pyrites put up with your righteous arse? * he asked her dryly, sliding his books across the table and out of his way so he could prop his elbows up on the desk, turning to look at her as he did * I mean, the last I checked, you really aren't his type. He's always preferred pureblood witches like himself. Ones who come from a family with a lot of power to their name. See, here's the thing, Fawley. He's going to get bored of you, like he does with the others. You really shouldn't let yourself get in so deep with a Slytherin. Especially when you don't want to support the same things he does. It never works out.

@coldxblooded * it wasn’t meant to offend him, she was telling him the truth. she didn’t know who he was and she couldn’t care less, he’d already annoyed her and that was enough for her to form an opinion on him. he didn’t care what she thought, she didn’t care what he thought. mutual understanding that neither of them had a care in the world about the other, so why was he still talking? * whatever you have to tell yourself to sleep at night.
