I had originally taken a very cynical approach to describing myself. Some of you read it and probably shook your heads. Not the best way to make new friends, I agree.

So. Hello from downunder! I am one of those people who can just sit and write. It's like breathing for me. I've never shared and never felt the need to publish. It was my thing, my escape, my therapy...

I have two sons, born a year and a half apart and both on the verge of manhood. Soon they will leave the nest and I am excited thinking about where life will take them...

This got me thinking it was time to let my 'other' children go. So here I am, sending them off... I hope they encounter some amazing people in their journeys!

I have this on my wall:
"Many people hear voices when no-one is there. Some of them are called 'mad' and are shut up in rooms where they stare at the walls all day.
Others are called 'writers' and they do pretty much the same thing."
