I love writing because it gave me an escape from life as a military brat. Moving every two years made making friends an art form, and I spent much of my time imagining vivid stories-writing them down or bringing them to life through plays with my friends.

As I grew older, my imagination never left me, but its edges became hazy as adulthood took over. 

Now, I'm rediscovering my love for the written word and finally unlocking the stories that have been waiting in my mind.
