My style is I write strong female characters regardless of whether they are overly optimistic, dying, or are stuck in the middle of a pack of alpha males who think they are superior to them. The female character will always be the strongest in the story and someone to root for. I also blend genres, break gender and genre norms, and take pleasure in making realistic characters with flaws, having representation of mixed race characters and couples, and representing all sexualities. Even in a fantasy setting, I try to make the characters and stories as realistic as possible so the reader can relate.

I'll be posting the first books in a few series and a few standalones to grow my audience. Those titles are still copyrighted work and not to be redistributed. Most can be purchased on Amazon, the iStore, Nook, Kobo, and at Smashwords; just search for Danae Ayusso for the full catalog.

Remember, I am a one-person publishing operation where I do the writing, editing, editing again, and editing again in most cases, the cover art, and non-existent marketing. I am trying to grow my platform so I returned to wattpad to assist with that since my marketing skills suck.

I try my best to research as much as I can to make characters, stories, and settings as authentic as possible for someone that lives in the Pacific Northwest. My Asia-based stories stem from my love of K-Dramas and C-Dramas and the research I've done for the nationalities and countries they are set in. If I error on something, let me know.
