When I was growing up, friends used to ask me to explain various things, what's the origin of this saying, how come turtles have shells, anything really. I'd go on to tell a story to explain it. Always absurd, always ridiculous and usually ending with something like, "of course, there are other explanations, I just thought I'd stick to the most likely one." I've never stopped making sh*p up and hopefully never will.
