I've been reading Crimson Qi by @DomiSotto which is a fast-paced, unique and compelling fantasy set in Ancient China with a very interesting cast of characters from all walks of life. Just made it to the final chapter and have the epilogues left. It's been an epic journey!

@Gryffindorlonewolf 's For Your Love has brought me over to India where a woman is confronted with her romantic past at her best friend's wedding. The story has just started, and I'm really looking forward to more.

I always look forward to reading @Velfman 's Snowblind with dynamic and entertaining characters, including a strong female lead, in a well-crafted fantasy setting.

And @LizLaneWrites (who started the pay it forward today) and has an emotionally-charged romance with two headstrong leads called Your Friday Night that I've also been enjoying.

All great reads if you have a chance to check them out! And just think, you've made it through half the work week :)

Hi Sarah!

Thanks so much for the follow and all your wonderful comments/votes for MisMatched! It’s always great to have detailed feedback, as I’m still writing this one - and interesting to have someone read who has spent time in Australia. I will reply to some of your comments soon.

Hope to check out your works too!
          A big thanks again!

@samkately We had a great time, so much to see! I don't know if I've ever spent that much time exploring Canada.

Thank you, don't feel rushed or obligated.

@samkately We spent a lot of time in WA, explored as far north as Broome and then came back down, crossed the Nullabor and spent a bit of time in SA. We visited Queensland, drove down the coast to Sydney, spent some time working at a farm in NSW then visited Victoria, Tasmania and SA again. We stayed at Kurth Kiln outside Melbourne for a few nights which looks close to the Yarra Ranges.

We're dipping below -30C all weekend, so it's a little harder to love winter on days like these. But I also remember sleeping in and through heat waves in NSW so it's a bit of a trade-off. I sadly don't at the moment. Don't feel pressured to read my stories, but if you find time my current WIP is More to Life.

Thank you very much for dedicating a chapter of More to Life to me. It's an honor to be a part of such a beautiful story. ❤❤❤❤❤

If you're looking for an entreating, funny and well-written story to read over the holidays, look no further than @MinaParkes "True Love and Necromancy". Theodosius and the narrator will have you laughing as he falls in love with one of his customers in his own unique way and attempts to cure her ailing grandfather. The characters are unique and memorable, as is the detailed setting. The story has won several awards as well. I highly recommend giving this fantastic short story a read!

A new chapter of More to Life is up! Maria spends a bit more time exploring Bangkok on her own and reflecting on her past. The chapters get more and more fun to write.

How are everyone's nanowrimo or writing projects going? Hopefully well :)

I thought I'd try to do what I could this month and work is about at the point where it's telling me I have to stop writing daily, unfortunately, but I made it to 13,000 words which I'm happy with since I'm someone who can spend over a week writing a piece of a chapter here and there.

@MairaDawn Thanks! Very true. It'll at least give me enough chapters to make it to the new year. Hope you NaNoWriMo is still going well too.

Explore a rich underwater world full of adventure, new technology and even some well-justified animosity toward the human world in @MairaDawn 's adventure Sea Bound. Sonora doesn't realize what is in store for her when she goes snorkelling after a trying day at work and is swept away by a guide to this unfamiliar underwater world. You'll be caught up in this unique world interwoven with ours, with interesting characters, and the compelling conflict with a crazed-scientist who is a constant threat to the people of the sea. This story has something for many readers: adventure, science fiction, romance and fantasy. I'm almost caught up to what is posted, and it's definitely worth checking out :)

Looking for a great adventure story? Check out @AEPennymaker 's Watty Long-listed tale "Shadow Road" to see how Brennora handles running for her life after a shipwreck and the disappearance of her father. Shadow Road brings a richly-detailed world to life, through the eyes of a young woman who is facing a big change from the sheltered life she lived before her family's business and home went up in flames. The opening completely drew me in with its compelling characters and unique descriptions. I highly recommend checking it out.

A note to my followers: I do 1-2 of shout-outs/newsfeed updates a month, so please don't worry. I know these new notifications are a pain, and I'll be doing my best not to overwhelm you :-)

@Voyageavecmoi don't mind shout outs at all and seconded. Fantastic read.

A nice breather from the action and we get the promised down time around the cabin. It's good to see his feelings getting stronger, but too bad he's not really cluing into why exactly. The flashback was a nice way to show not only the past difference between them and the change in Skye, as well as slip in some more details about how the Coles fit into the town as well as their history. Well done, another nice chapter that has me rooting for Skye and Dylan (though I wonder if I may be waiting until book 2 for that). Great work!
