Black lives matter. White lives matter. Immigrant lives matter. They all do. And guess what? So do the lives of police officers. Why do we act like they're different than us? Like another species. They are human beings that risk their lives to protect us from criminals, and you've got your head so far up your ass, that you can only see the shit that social media is spoon-feeding you. Police calls have risen to 3x the normal amount since the defunds, and recall of the force, and they're not allowed to do anything about it. You'll lose your shit about the accidental citizen death of a criminal, but won't even bat an eye to the hundreds of officer deaths that happen each year. People make mistakes, and accidents happen. That's what being human means, so stop acting like cops are the bad guys here, when you're only making the situation so much worse than it already is.
