I was starved for reading material, so, after exploring Google Play, I downloaded Wattpad. Who could resist a free app that promises free books
and stories?
After a few months of reading, I realized I can write well enough to give this a try. Fifty years of reading experience has shown me how it's done, via a kind of info-osmosis, so I'm giving it a try. I'm learning as I go, so intelligent commentary is much appreciated. :)
Whatever I might write is only recreational, not an attempt at recognition. If it gets recognition, well and good, but I write for only amusement. There is zero probability I'll ever get recognized or paid for it, so I write only throwaway material.

I have to wonder how and why some writers are able to put truly illiterate blurbs on their stories. Should there be a squad of "blurb nazis" roaming Wattpad to help them out?
