          There a meet up in the works for Sunday, August 21st in the afternoon. Gavin will be here during this time, and he's been trying to rally a few other people. We're thinking something low-key over coffee. Everyone is welcome to come.

Is anybody interested in having a @TorontoMeetUp on the grounds of the Guild Park? It's been called “Guildwood Park may be the eeriest, yet most breathtaking park in the city.”

          “Sitting high atop the Scarborough Bluffs on Toronto's eastern side, is one of our oldest and most beautiful hotels, the Guild Inn. Boarded-off and sealed to potential guests, this magnificent structure is also famed as being one of the most haunted buildings in Canada.”
          
          The old hotel is gone but the Greek Theatre and many sculptures, the settler's cabin and the Bluffs over Lake Ontario are still there. Maybe we should have a meetup there at the end of June? Is anybody interested? I am setting my newest (experimental collaborative) novel project in a setting inspired by the history of the Guild grounds. I would love to host a meetup to launch the project and attract local writers to it. It's also just a very beautiful place to spend the afternoon.
