Attempting to be more consistent with my writing and I'm enjoying the amount of work I've been able to get done. I like where the story is going and I have plenty of fun ideas for the future! For now, I'm just posting a transitional chapter that leads the group of characters in Shards of Felwyn to the final discovery of the section they are in! I hope all of you enjoy it. Sixteen days for a chapter definitely isn't bad, especially for how tough this one was to write! I think I actually have written three different versions of this chapter, but the final result is definitely something I'm proud of. I hope all of you like it as much as I do. Tonight's chapter was a piece of work to write, and I actually finished it a couple days ago and just was able to publish it. I feel as though the story is slowing down a bit, as the Trovvs arc only lasted about 6 chapters, where next arc is already 5 chapters and I don't feel like It's even approaching where I want it to be. If ya'll feel like it, lemme know whether that's a good thing or not. if not, I'm glad ya'll are just reading and hopefully enjoying it. I hope to have the next chapter out a bit sooner and that ya'll stay safe.
Today's chapter breaks the record for the longest one I've written in Shards of Felwyn, possibly ever. Sparks of War beats A Divine Request (15 pages) at a whopping 17 pages (or 6600 words) I'm happy with how my writing is going and the book seems to almost be writing itself in some places! Hope y'all are having a great new year, seeing as a lot of things are quite hectic right now. Stay safe, I hope you all will be hearing from me soon!
Happy new year, all! I worked on this chapter a bit during winter break but also (clearly) took a lot of time to myself to relax after a lot of work and stress recently. I should be back to writing more consistently now that the school year is beginning its second semester and I can have a more consistent day-to-day schedule. Just got the next chapter of Felwyn out in about 9 days! The book is going smoothly and looks like it might be anywhere from 250-300 pages long! Hope yall are staying safe and happy.
Just posted the next chapter to Shards of Felwyn, I actually finished this one about a week earlier but haven't been able to publish it until now. It's been almost two months since I've posted anything. Really sorry about that! Writing got away from me in my schedule and I let a bad habit of not doing it take form. During that time, we hit the one year anniversary of me starting Shards of Felwyn! I just published chapter 12 of Shards of Felwyn. This is possibly one of the longest chapters I've ever written, about 5800 words long! I think the pacing is great and I'm confident those still reading my works will like it too. Uploads will be slower now that school is back in session, but I will still be doing my best to write.
