Susan A. Rodgers
Susan Rodgers' first novel A Certain Kind of Freedom was a Finalist in the Writers' Federation of Nova Scotia Atlantic Writing Awards for unpublished manuscripts. She recently completed the first eight books of her wildly popular Drifters series, just finished the first drafts of books nine to eleven, and is diligently writing the twelfth. These books will be edited, polished, and make their way online and in print to stores in the spring of 2016.
An independent filmmaker as well as writer, Susan completed a feature documentary, The Healing Place, in 2014. She recently worked with L.A. mentors Bill Boyle and Donald Martin on a feature drama screenplay that has received a nod for marketplace readiness ('it's textured and layered, a riveting story'), and so is working on plans to either sell it or to produce it herself.
Owner / Operator of Bluemountain Entertainment, Susan is a graduate of Vancouver Film School. Formerly a museum curator, Susan lives with her partner Stephen and her cat Oliver in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, Canada, and makes frequent trips to Vancouver to visit her coffee mogul son Christopher.
