♔ VIN ♔

I love the smell of parchment. I love the feel of ink on paper. I love the sound of cracking open a book for the first time. One day i'll create a library of everything I love; a musty, dark pleasant library where i'll be surrounded by nothing but peace, time, a flickering candle and walls of endless bookshelves swelling with the thousands of stories they have to offer me.

I love long cozy hallways and wide windows with heavy drapes. I love thickly woven rugs and carpets that flood every room and walkway. I love the sight of rolling hills in the twilight from a large balcony guarded on either side by large friendly trees. One day i'll build my own castle in which my library will nestle like a cooing baby in the arms of its loving mother.

I want to be a princess. I want to go to Hogwarts.

But such things can't be true. And so I indulge myself in imagination and dream that one day I will create my own paradise in which I am a princess and where my magic takes the form of words on paper. I don't know how long it will take or what I will have to do create it but by the time i'm gone I will have left a piece of paradise on earth; and it will be a piece that inspires and revives what this world has so dearly lost: an appreciation for the simpler, more enthralling things in life. An appreciation of what is beautiful and what is captivating. An appreciation for the the more baser beauties of life, dreams and imagination.
