Alright guys it’s that time where I once again hit a book slump and turn to Wattpad in desperation! Send some recommendations my way- I’m dying for some well-written characters and character relationships, and good plot’s a bonus. I’m fiercely avoiding YA after a string of bad ones. Really all that’s captured my interest this year was Red Dragon/Silence of the Lambs and skimming through my favorite Natasha Pulley books, if that helps at all. I’ve no clue what I’m actually in the mood to read aside from needing characters I actually care about (also humor is a bonus, especially Karen Traviss seamless dry humor style with that sweet sweet found family trope)

@SkeneKidz Don't know if it's your taste. It's called paintings of terror. The characters and the plot are so good. Just search it on google.

@SkeneKidz My favorite thing I've been reading is the Underworld Chronicles by @rotXinXpieces here on Wattpad it has such great characters, there are lots of books in the series with really well thought out plot arcs. It does have some triggering content and violent scenes so it gets pretty dark, that's something to keep in mind.

Hey Jen. I don't know if you're going to read this or not but I feel like I really had to tell you this.
When I first read 'The Journal' I was young. Like we're talking 13 years young. I remember sobbing like a baby when I finished it. And I've never cried while reading a book,so that was new. A while after that due to circumstances I left reading and recently picked it up again. And I thought why not revisit this book, it's a great book and surely I can't cry twice but boy was I so wrong. I was again, sobbing like a baby. Your book is genuinely phenomenal and I'm never going to forget this book(like literally when I deleted Wattpad I used to search this book on Google like crazy)
In a culture like mine, where there is negative environment around the LGBTQ community your book was one of the factors that helped me build the right opinion on the community in my formative years. Thank you.

So whatever you're doing Jen, I truly do wish the best for you.

@ShawnPierre99 our own mistakes is also technically part of the series. It's a spin off that takes place at the same time as the first book, but following a different set of characters

“The only faith” is the next book in the series and the last book in the series is “blurring the lines”

I just finished “our own mistakes” and I loved it, exactly like the other 3 (4 with the aaronxkaz) books from constance academy. I would love to read another one and thought maybe you could write about Wyyat and that maroon kid he talked about at the end of the book, or just completely new people. It’s a suggestion I think me and other people would like, ofc you don’t need to do it if you don’t feel comfortable writing another one of those books, I just really enjoy reading them and btw you’re a really really good writer :)
