I'm Eric, better known around the Internet as either SightSpirit or EzloSpirit. I have been writing recreationally since 2005, although not seriously until late 2007. These days, I primarily write short stories, though I have started about ten novels, most of which I have shelved permanently. My stories can be categorized in a relatively wide range of genres, though science fiction and fantasy do top the list. I almost never write with a specific age group in mind, but a good number of my stories end up being most appropriate for teenagers and young adults, which makes sense since I fall into the latter category myself.

I also served as the designated moderator of the Writing forum over at the Zelda Universe Forums for the latter half of 2012. My Tumblr blog and the ZU Forums are currently my primary outlets for distributing my written works. I also publish to Figment and Wattpad; I used to publish to FictionPress, too, so some of my earliest (semi-)serious works can be found there.

Besides writing, I also play a lot of video games, almost exclusively Nintendo. My favorite video games are Hyrule Warriors Legends, Pokémon Sun & Moon, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. I have been a Pokémon fan for about 16 years, and a Zelda fan for about 8. I also contributed regularly to the ZUCast, the official podcast of Zelda Universe.net, from 2010 through 2013; I am currently an admin on ZU's sister site, Zelda Wiki.

I am a huge sci-fi fan. Shade's Children (by Garth Nix) and The Giver (by Lois Lowry) are my two favorite books. Doctor Who is my favorite TV show. I don't watch films much because I don't often have the patience for them. I listen primarily to video game music, but I also listen to showtunes and almost anything without lyrics.

I am 22 years old, nonbinary, and an unproud American.

I welcome any and all constructive feedback on my works! I also welcome messages, so say hi!
