My name is Skylla Noir, (or at least my pen name is).
Call me Sky. I love to write. I have always had ideas and stories turning in my head. Over half of it will never make it out. Only a few scenes written on paper, and that makes me despair. But my characters are living and if they die too fast then they can't be expressed through paper. My story develops with a person or a scene and they are built organically into a setting. Into a friendship... into a reality. Why do I write?
To stay sane.

"Lie. Put down on paper the most interesting lies you can imagine . . . and then make them plausible. " ~ Chris Bohjalian
"Be courageous and try to write in ways that scare you a little." ~ Holly Gerth
"Dialogue is not just a quotation. It's grimaces, pauses, adjustments of blouse buttons, doodles on a napkin, and crossing of legs." ~Jerome Stern
“So avoid using the word ‘very’ because it’s lazy. A man is not very tired, he is exhausted. Don’t use very sad, use morose. Language was invented for one reason, boys - to woo women - and, in that endeavor, laziness will not do...”
