          So... I've had a hard year or two. The whole pandemic thing took my granddad away from me, I got diagnosed with depression and anxiety and I went back to uni. Plus, I'm super broke and trying to make a living for myself at the moment!
          
          I would like to continue all of my stories, though. The problem is that, while I wasn't writing, I have been thinking and rethinking over my story. I've made additions and changes to the lore, updated the plot and fixed the formatting in my mind. So, I think the stories need to be scrapped and revamped!
          
          I'm thinking of starting with When I'm Gone and moving onto The Queen of Freaks once I've got that one down. I hope it isn't too much of an inconvenience to you all!

Hi everyone! I'm thinking of updating The Queen of Freaks, as I've been doing some worldbuilding and thinking through my story. Some things need to change! I may be starting from the beginning.
          
          I know, I know. Tweaking and changing your baby too much doesn't do any good. Especially when it's your pride and joy story like The Queen of Freaks is for me!
          
          However, I've been doing a lot more reading about the whole writing thing and really thinking about my magic system and I want to make the tone of each narrator clear from the start. Plus, I had some really good feedback on Chapter One and I think it's about time that I sit down and think about how to implement the changes that I agree with.
          
          I think the main reason for this was timing. When I first started writing The Queen of Freaks here, I had been deeply embroiled in the Episode Interactive community for a long time. The episodic, interactive nature of the platform there doesn't lend itself very well to creating good stories in proper prose. So, I took some time to write When I'm Gone here and start planning for The Bitten (name subject to change) on Radish to hone in my writing skills.
          
          I'm going to leave this version up until I go through and make the changes that I want to make. However, I want you to know that I will be working from the start very soon. I hope this will give me my motivation back!

I’m making a small change to the most recent chapter of The Queen of Freaks, as I made a mistake. Sorry!

Hi all! I’m working on releasing another chapter of The Queen of Freaks this Sunday! Doing my best to stick to a fortnightly schedule. I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who’s voted on my story so far, as this is a massive help to me!

After a long hiatus, I'm back and ready to write lots more Queen of Freaks! I'm not going to lie: I lost faith in my own writing for a while, especially after the way I was treated by Episode.
          
          But I'm hoping things will look up from now! Please check out the newest chapter and let me know what you think!

As some of you may well know, I was kicked off Episode Interactive. They're insisting that they've given me a reason, but I have had no such email from them.
          
          That means that I've lost a lot of progress on my Queen of Freaks stories! I spent at least a month perfecting the first three chapters to make sure that they were amazing.
          
          However, it also means that I can dedicate my attention to writing my stories here and continuing to post advice on my blog. In some ways, this is a good thing for me! I hope I can roll out a regular posting schedule soon!

Just some quick cosmetic changes to the new Queen of Freaks chapter, so I'm sorry if you've read it already! Apparently, I can't spell 'possession'.

I finally finished Chapter 2 and it was probably the most difficult thing I've had to write. I can't wait to get into what happens next! You'll meet the boys soon!

Everyone says “update frequently,” but I’m such a perfectionist that I want to make sure I’m happy with each chapter before it goes out. I’m sorry to my readers!!! Don’t hate me!
