💠 I'm a 30-something-year-old who hasn't quite figured out that she's not 20-something anymore. I'm a veteran of both the US Navy and the US Army National Guard. I'm now living a Not-So-Boring life in eastern PA with my husband and three house rabbits.
💠 Readers will find a strong presence of British Celtic themes in my writing. I'm no expert, but I've had a deep love of Irish mythology since I was a child. As an adult, I've gravitated toward Welsh mythology, which is helped along by a summer I spent near Swansea back in the early 2000s. My hope is to bring to life the ancient legends/lore/myths of my own ancestors in modern and unique ways. After all...spinning a good yarn is the most Irish of Irish things to do. 🙃
💠 I also have a fascination with all things paranormal. I love magical lore of any sort, and I have particular interest in folk magics that synchronized with Christianity. My specific interests there are Cunning, Braucherei, Conjure/Rootwork, Vodun, Ozark Granny magic, and the deep lore of Appalachia.
💠 I'm also fond of Westerns?? 🤠 Don't ask me where that comes from, because I'm a Nor'Easterner through and through. So much of the American Old West is lore and legend, so I approach it from that perspective, more so than a historical one. The genre of Westerns need a little reinvention anyway, don't ya' think?
💠 If you read, please review! It makes me a better storyteller. 💚
