Ahha!
          I see what you are doing:
          First Barnaby the Wanderer.
          Now Colleen the Wanderer.
          Next will be D... the Wanderer.
          Then E... the Wanderer.
          And on through the entire alphabet!
          Each story more fabulous than the last.
          Until, finally, with the whole fantasy-loving world groveling at your feet and showering you with wealth, you will deign to write A... the Wanderer.
          Which will tie it all together into an inimitable whole, a gift to the ages.
          More memorable than Dante or Milton.
          Have I got that right?

@JimHeter Wow.
            Yes. Yes, that is exactly the secret plan.
            Let's... just keep it under wraps for now.
            Loose lips slink sheep, all that.
            Hi, Jim!
            Still raining.

Here's a new writer you might want to visit:
          @zacktrobertson
          I suspect you'll find he's a man after your own heart.
          He only has one work posted so far.

            What's more disturbing is that he's heaping praise on ... my Spacetime essays! ?

@JimHeter That's... kinda disturbing.

@RaymondStElmo I’m thinking tartan series is probably more up my alley! I’ll check it out!

@Sanch250 It's a continuous story.
            'Strawberry Fair' is one of five books set in the same geographic area of texas hill country; but each book is a stand-alone with new characters.

Micheal is a wannabe comedian working in a factory run by crazy people. He falls in love with a girl from the office. A local hooligan across the walkway with connections to the underworld doesn't like it. Their fight will change not only their lives but also the company.

Do I detect some form of demonic skywriting behind the clouds on your new story cover?

RaymondStElmo

@JimHeter That was the first sunset jpg that came out on google images.
            Which doesn't mean you don't detect some sinister meaning, demonic conspiracy or hidden clue to reality in the clouds; just means 'don't bother asking me because I am always last to know these things'.
            Hi, Jim! Thanks so much for the reading. It is very encouraging.

Hey Raymondo, I thought I'd better drop you a line as I haven't heard from you for ages. I hope you are doing alright. Have you given up on Wattpad? I have, pretty much. If so, what are you doing now? Missin' you and Jimbo,

I've been busy for a while now, getting rejections from agents for An Allodyne Touch. To be honest, I'm pretty fed up with it, so I've decided to do some new writing to give my battered ego a chance to recover. Luckily, I'm really enjoying working on the new book - The Rise of I. Only done a couple of chapters. I've posted them on Wattpad, but mostly so I can use it as an external back-up. Sounds like you are working far too hard - all work and no play is not good for you! I don't know what things are like in Texas, but I'm locked down with my two teenage boys (and wife), which has been interesting. They're probably not going to let us out until May! Going to need a very big holiday (and a lot of wine). I'll have a read of The Well. Already had a quick peek and looks good.

            Hey! What a great and kind thing ,for you to stop and say hello.
            Having a rough work week. That's mostly where I am now, even on weekends.
            I need a break.

            I don't go to facebook at all or wattpad much anymore. No time. I did post the rough draft of 'the well' (new book). Mostly to talk with Jim Heter; he posts his cosmic snow dialogue kind of in reply.

             I do try and check in on reddit's r/fantasy. That's a fun place to talk about books (fantasy and sci-fi).

            Hope you are well and happy.
            Hi, Simon!

Heloooo. Been blooming ages. How are you? I seem to have been busy trying to edit down AAT ready for submitting to the great and the good (and the downright useless). Dull stuff, but I think I actually like editing- which is a bit of a worry - haha. One of the agents I'm submitting to wants me to say who my writing most resembles and I don't think I'll get away with say a dyslexic five year old. Any idea, as I really don't read a lot of sci-fi and can't for the life of me think of anyone. I have also asked young Jim. BTW I'm in Dallas Ft Worth (tickets now booked) 23rd-29th(ish). Timetable subject to whim of wife, so maybe a day either side (we're going to NY at the same time).
