I love writing. I started writing articles when I was in 3rd year high school, during which I joined the school paper as a science writer. I also became a writer and associate editor of a college publication when I was 19. That was 14 years ago. Then in 2009, I shifted careers from teaching to ghostwriting for foreign clients. However, only in 2015 did I begin writing stories.
Fiction writing is still new to me. I'm still scrambling and learning every bit every now and then. I feel like I have to go back to the drawing board, reading about how to plot or how write dialogues. It's a mentally and emotionally stimulating task, one which I am constantly getting better at.
My influences are shows like Charmed, X-Men, Agents of SHIELD, The Gifted, and Legion. I'm a huge Marvel fan, and it shows in the stories that I write. My imagination moves in the urban fantasy genre, but it tends to explore horror and romance themes. So my stories are kind of a mixture of these elements.
I'm still too new to this, still honing the technical and creative aspects of storytelling. I'm working on it and hoping one day I'd be a published writer. I'm currently reading about screenwriting, which is a whole new world. There's a lot of options for people like us, but I just want to tell good stories right now.
