I wanted to let you all know about a cool free promo I'm running this week... The Infernal Aether--the final, edited, published version--will be on free on Amazon on 10/11 February 2016!

I've kept the first draft on here since it was first uploaded mainly for sentimental reasons, as it was a great journey helped along by some amazing comments from readers and (rather selfishly!) I don't want to lose those comments. But since then the story has been reshaped by professional editors, run the gaunlet of reviewers, been rewritten and rewritten again, and is now up on Amazon. It usually retails at $2.99, but you can get it for free if you head over there this Wednesday and Thursday! I hope you enjoy it, and please do let me know what you think!

In other news... I've put out a novella (titled "A Christmas Aether", collecting together three stories following on from The Infernal Aether), which is available online permanently for free. I am also head-down in the midst of the second book in the series, provisionally titled "The Bornless Ones" - with what at the moment I intend to be the final book in the trilogy currently sloshing around my whiteboard in the planning phase! To find out more, head over to my website - peteroxleyauthor.com!

Cheers - and as always, if you have any questions, comments or just fancy a bit of a chat, I'd love to hear from you!

          Pete

So, as promised, the final chapter of Doctor Who - Incarceration is now on Wattpad; and it definitely is the end - in more ways than one...

Hope you enjoy. I'm now focusing on The Infernal Aether 2, more of that to come, and will still try and post stuff as and when - and also try and keep up with stories from the other hugely talented people out there on Wattpad. I do keep an eye on my inbox so do contact me for any reason - if only to stop me being lonely!

And if you fancy seeing how the first The Infernal Aether ended up, don't forget it's on Amazon for your reading pleasure!

          Pete

OK, I did plan on this being the last part of DW-I, but then changed my mind...First New Year's Resolution of 2015 - to be more definitive and decisive (then again, maybe not :) )

In any case, I promised myself I'd post something this side of 2015 and have at least kept that one. Hope you enjoy - and a Happy New Year to you all! See you on the other side - cheers!!

Merry Christmas everyone! The penultimate chapter of Doctor Who - Incarceration is up and waiting for you. You'll either be relieved or disappointed to hear I've resisted the urge to include murderous Christmas trees or vicious Santas... :)

For those looking for something with a bit more of a Yuletide feel, don't forget that A Christmas Aether is still here for your reading pleasure, so why not pop by, pull up a chair by the fire, and enjoy...?

@Pete_Oxley Same to you, and have a delightful new year.

Though really, daleks disguised as Christmas trees? Brilliant.

An early Christmas present from me to all you lovely people - A Christmas Aether, a two-part Christmas story which can be read before, after or during The Infernal Aether - starring all your favourite characters...

          Enjoy - and Merry Christmas!

This is the culmination of months of sweat and tears (well, frustrated banging at a keyboard in any case...!). The Kindle edition has been edited by John Harten and D.L. Mackenzie and is a big step on from the first draft, which I'm leaving on this site for the time being at least.
Thanks to all those who have taken the time to comment on the first draft and helped to keep me pressing on with it to the bitter end... I hope you enjoy the Kindle edition, and please do let me know what you think!
          Merry Christmas all!
          Pete
