Top 35 Finalist - TNT Horror Story Contest

Pete Altieri was born in Bronx, New York and spent much of his childhood in Bethel, Connecticut. He currently lives in Central Illinois with his wife, Sheilie. They have two adult children and two grandchildren. He attended Western Connecticut State University and is a disabled US Army veteran who served during the Desert Storm era with the famed 7th US Cavalry at Fort Hood, Texas.

Pete has written hundreds of short stories, one novella, and recently completed writing his second novel, The Dreadful Lives of Enoch Strange. His style is unique, blending horror, suspense, and thrillers into one hell of a literary body blow.

Pete is also a voracious reader, and among his favorites are Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen King, HP Lovecraft, William Peter Blatty, Ray Bradbury, Joe Hill, Nelson DeMille, Ira Levin, Peter Straub, Richard Matheson, and Alexandre Dumas.

He will be doing a digital and physical release of his short stories later in 2017, entitled Creation of Chaos, Volume I.

His story, October House, will be used in an exciting project involving American Horrors sometime in 2017/2018.
