Siona was friends, too, with an Arch member and upon learning if her pregnancy, a member wooed her with promises to raise the baby together, in the process managing to inject her with their leader's DNA. Riddick was raised as a weapon to destroy the ravagers from the inside out until they save him and be realizes they may not be so bad.
