MARIA YOUNG

AS AN ARTIST OF MANY DIFFERENT MEDIUMS, I HAVE DISCOVERED THAT IT IS THROUGH OUR GIFTING AND OUR TALENT THAT WE ARE CAPABLE OF EXPRESSING OUR HEART'S DESIRES AND OUR SOUL'S POTENTIAL.  IT IS THROUGH OUR DEEPEST PASSIONS THAT THE MASTERPIECE IS UNVEILED, FULLY EXPOSED UPON THE STAGE OF OUR PURPOSE AND MAGNIFIED UPON THE SCROLL OF OUR DESTINY.  WE ALL HAVE A CERTAIN RESPONSIBILITY TO LEAVE OUR IMPRESSION AND OUR IMPRINT UPON THIS WORLD.  I MYSELF DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE IT UNCHANGED, AS THOUGH I NEVER CAME THIS WAY...AS THOUGH I NEVER EVEN EXISTED AT ALL.  I HAVE A GREAT NEED TO LEAVE MY DISTINCTIVE SIGNATURE THAT PROUDLY PROCLAIMS INDEED I WAS HERE AND INDEED I HAVE MADE A DIFFERENCE IN THIS WORLD AND IN THE LIVES THAT I HAVE TOUCHED.

As a young child, I lived in a world of constant change and transformation where nothing ever remained the same and my childhood was but vague snapshots of random faces, and unknown places.  Like a stage that is masterfully crafted and professionally set, I was made to perform within Life's grand performance.  Without rehearsal, without any scripted lines, without guidance or reassurance, I was pushed out upon that stage....ready or not. 

" LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!" ...and we're made to go on...making it up as we go...faking it until we make it, accommodating the needs of the audience and willing to attempt to meet every demand, every stipulation and every expectation...until one day the light begins to fade...and the velvet, crimson red curtain falls like a ton of chaotic bricks upon the stage of life...only then we realize that THIS IS OUR LIFE...and WE are responsible for how we live it and the happiness that we attain from it.  We are the writers, directors and producers of our lives...and we are responsible for bringing about our most epic production!  

As an entertainer, artist and writer, I spend a lot of my time bringing to life the desires of my heart, ensuring I am living life to its fullest capacity and potential.
