A writer of mysteries, fantasies, and science fiction focusing on oddities and strange phenomenon. I wonder how we dream and what we dream about.

I write short fiction and flash pieces. I rarely exceed 6,000 words in a story. I found it is easier than long fiction in that I can write a short story or a bit of fluff a lot quicker. Some of my stories may end up longer. But so far short is best.

I write with Scrivener and think the program takes word processing to non-linear heights. My first novel remains unedited because I can't figure out where the thing starts and ends. With Scrivener, you can write the beginning, the end, the middle, or something in between, then go back and edit it. I love this tool!

I Wander Away is a book on Amazon where I took all of my short stories on my website and put them together into a theme exploring the colonization of Mars, the troubles with reality, and the problems with cell towers. I dare you to take a journey of life, death, and the future of mankind as these stories explore the meaning of what it means to be human. At least that was the goal!

I write at wordsmithholler.com and here on WattPad.
