I was a bit hesitant about posting an announcement regarding the case of george floyd. I felt like my influence here on wp isn't that great so i thought my message really wouldn't help at all. But i've come to terms with the fact that, every voice counts at this moment, everyone NEEDS to do their part in order to bring justice to the unfortunate death of George Floyd. George Floyd died at the hands of four policemen, one policeman knelt on his throat despite his constant pleas and him saying he couldn't breathe until he eventually stopped moving completely and unfortunately, died. And unfortunately he died in the most disturbing way possible, at the hand of a police officer, the people we rely on for safety.
Right now we are living in a world of chaos and destruction where the people we rely on for safety are stabbing our backs and proving that we can never rely on them for safety and justice. So that being said, anyone that is saying that ALL LIVES MATTER right now despite the sitation we are going through, i truly have no words for you, right now our main priority is BLACK LIVES right now the ones that are being brought upon injustices are BLACK PEOPLE and they need you more right now.
So please do your part in order to help this case instead of trying to justify the actions of these officers or try to sweep this case under the rug.
