She is Macy and Im Tee. Twins bonded together by something more than birth. We live and breathe words. It was books that made us feel that perhaps we were not completely alone. They could be honest with us, and us with them. Reading the words, what others wrote, how they were lonely sometimes and afraid, but always brave; the way they saw the world, its colors and textures and sounds, we felt the way they thought, hoped, felt, dreamt. We felt we were dreaming and thinking and feeling with them. We dreamed what they dreamed, wanted what they wanted and then we realized that truly we just wanted to do what they did.
