Lizze, thanks for the follow. My handle is consistent across my work and the internet, including on Royal Road, which also has a forum. PM me any time. I stay away from Facebook like the plague, but can share my e mail address, if you like.

@FAHyatt Thanks. I don't know anything about Royal Road. Do you have books published with an ISBN? And if so what is your pen name?

The grand final chapter

          Chapter 37 • Four Sides
The noise of the crowd filled the great dome of the packed Zenhedron. Teakh and I descended the northeast aisle, leading our team of law students. The jade compass rose at the center of the circular arena seemed minuscule and distant, sunk below a deep parapet. I search for my man, checking faces and postures, I didn’t spot him or recognize any of the Royal Guardsmen at the entrances to the arena floor.

Whoops. I broke the last chapter in so THIS is the second to last chapter.

In the second twelvenight of autumn, Teakh and I flew to Fennako City for the long-awaited court hearings. During five difficult months in Idylko, I'd suffered through morning sickness and loneliness. My man and I were only allowed to meet via teleconference twice a fortnight. Jeena’s pregnancy hadn’t taken, so we’d arranged for Teakh to do it over again. Having Jeena on board as the mother of a Noahee child was essential.

The next to last chapter is now on Wattpad.

The screen pivoted, following me as I paced. I hailed Big Mareen.
“What the depths is going on? I can’t reach Him. I get access denied.”
          "We're negotiating. Calm down."
"Calm down!? I've been abducted. And now I can't reach my husband."
“Ralko views him as having undue influence on you and so on the outcome of the legal judgment."
"Founder Ralko. They have no claim on me. I renounce them."

Chapter 34 • Knitters
This chapter is for my knitting friends, powerful women and a few men. Hm I think I may make some changes.

The knitting group gossiped, their needles clacking. They'd provided me with needles and my choice of yarn. I looped creamy wool over the needle and drew it back through.

          Knit, purl, knit, purl.

          A wall screen activated.

          “We’re on!" a woman exclaimed.

The view cut from the Seaguardsman who’d rescued me to a shot of the village from the seaplane and of me walking through sheep dotted fields.

          The knitters whooped.

          “We rescued the princess!"

The boat slowed. Possibly, we'd reached a clan boundary. Squinting in the sunlight, I scanned the horizon for a sign of human habitation, spying a few puffy clouds but no hint of land jutted above the seas. Dyse and Madame were on the bridge surely attempting to obtain hospitality and permission to proceed.

My man and I had often waited at boundaries for the go-ahead. I hugged myself, trying to image he held me. I recalled that he'd once had a job inspecting life rafts and that he'd warned me of boats with uncertified equipment.

I found the life raft strapped to the deck. I looked it over, and the certification was current. Imagine that, pirates who maintain safety. I loosened the straps, checked that the painter was secure, and flung the case overboard. Chapter 33 • Pregnant Princess now on Wattpad

From Fishlaw Outcast Part 38 Captive Lawyer.
          Now available.
Mountains drew close and then receded as we flew, now away from the densely populated islands of Fennako City. We approached villages, which quickly dropped astern as we passed without stopping. To me they remained nameless and unknown. I desired a chart, or even a rough map such as tourist used.

Through this, three Fennako esskips remained on our tail. I pinned my hope on them.

“Fennako is going to come after you,” I said. “They’ll track you down.”
