Greetings from England!

After many years with ideas for stories flying around my head, I finally found the inspiration for an entire plotline. Don't eat cheese before bedtime, kids. It really does cause strange dreams. The results of this can be found in The Memory of Darkness. The story itself features very few references to cheese.

About me? Hmm, I like reading (favourites include Terry Pratchett, Bernard Cornwell, Philippa Gregory, George R.R. Martin and Stephen King), going to the cinema, pub quizzes and following the many misfortunes of my favourite football (soccer) team. Since December 2013 I've struggled to find time for writing. That became more of a struggle in March 2016. Those dates are when my sons were born, and they're awesome, and if I as much as look at my laptop when my eldest is around, he wants to press the keys. All of the keys. Needless to say, I can only write when they're out of the house, or asleep.

As pleased as I was to finish my first story and have it on the Featured list, I knew that I was capable of better. For that reason, I unpublished the first version of The Memory of Darkness (and let me tell you, that was emotional), so that I could work on the second.

I don't wish to be rude, but requests to read your story will be politely ignored. Also, if you want to follow me, that's really good of you. I won't necessarily follow back, so please don't ask.
